We are delighted to confirm the Food and Drink Maintenance Engineering Apprenticeship Standard is now confirmed and a funding band of £26,000 has now been approved by the minister.
This has been a fabulous effort by the sector to review and update its flagship Apprenticeship Standard, building on its predecessors success and taking the opportunity to include the demands and skills of the future.
The NSAFD would like to give a massive thanks to all members of the trailblazer group , its chair Billy Goulbourn of Kraft Heinz and the support from the Institute of Apprenticeships & Technical Education to guide us through the whole process.
It has been a privilege to Chair this Trailblazer group and work with some passionate individuals and organisations to ensure this apprenticeship standard delivers exactly what the sector requires. The industry has pulled to together to develop a standard of which it can be very proud – this will lead the way for the sector to develop world class maintenance engineers for the future!
