NWTC have been in existence as an Engineering Training Provider since 1963. We have a wide range of experience in the delivery of national, bespoke and commercial engineering training courses for member employers. These courses have supported the development and progression of employees within the food and
drink industry.
We have trained and assessed to date, over 10,000 apprentices which includes higher level HNC & HND apprentices, as of today we have 396 engineering apprentices on our programmes with the capacity to increase this on site.
Our aim is to grow the business, with emphasis on excellent quality of training. Putting our customers, (learners and employers) first and ensuring the services we deliver exceeds their expectations.
The aim of North West Training Council, (NWTC) to continue to improve its position as a leading work-based learning provider of engineering apprenticeships both regionally and nationally.
Our focus is always the quality of the learner’s journey throughout their apprenticeship.

Our state-of-the-art training facility supports our apprentices to learn in a safe environment while working on specific equipment in-line with the food and drink manufacturing industry and develop knowledge of working in hygienic engineering.
As a member of the National Skills Academy for Food and Drink Manufacturing NWTC has expertise in the sector having worked closely with a range of leading companies such as: Nestle, Muller, Coca Cola European Partners, Allied Bakeries to name a few.
