Ambassador Training

Business Members of the National Skills Academy gain privileged access to the Tasty Careers Ambassadors scheme in addition to the time and money saving benefits of closer support on sector-leading solutions to workforce skill challenges. 

The Ambassador outreach scheme, facilitated by the Tasty Careers website, allows schools and colleges to request a careers talk from a local food or drink processing business. 

As part of your Business Membership, you are entitled to send two young employees on a two-day residential course to boost presentation skills free of charge. The course equips Ambassadors with all the knowledge and skills to be confident in presenting careers opportunities within your business, and the industry as a whole, to school children of all ages. 

Once trained, all we ask is that you are helpful in allowing Ambassadors to meet convenient Tasty Careers speaking requests. These are backed by Teacher Information Packs and Promotional Literature for ongoing use by the local schools, sixth forms and colleges concerned. 

To top things off, www.tastycareers.org.uk also includes real-life case studies of young people who have already secured great jobs in the sector – giving your next generation of recruits genuine peer group examples they can really identify with.
