
Following the strong engagement during Learning at Work Week, the National Skills Academy for Food & Drink (NSAFD) is continuing to create accessible opportunities for people across the industry to develop their skills and capability. Our next Lunch & Learn session takes place on Thursday 22nd October 2026, delivered by CQM Training & Consultancy.
Change is a constant in food and drink manufacturing, whether it comes through new processes, evolving customer requirements, technology, production pressures or changes within a team. This 45‑minute session, Leading Teams Through Change, is designed to help current and aspiring leaders build confidence and capability in one of the most important aspects of people leadership.

The session will be delivered by Andy Cheshire, Managing Director of CQM Training & Consultancy. Andy brings more than 35 years of experience across manufacturing, operational leadership and Continuous Improvement, including senior roles at Swizzels Matlow, Kraft Foods and British Sugar. His approach is grounded in the realities of manufacturing, balancing people, performance and production pressures while making change work in practice.
This session is ideal for team leaders, supervisors and aspiring managers working in food and drink manufacturing, particularly those experiencing changes to processes, ways of working, technology or team structures.
