Justine Fosh talks about new Packaging Apprenticeship

Following TV programmes such as David Attenborough’s ‘Blue Planet II’, the environmental concerns of food packaging have become a key issue for food manufacturers, some of whom have pledged to make their packaging more eco-friendly. 

However, the food and drink industry faces a problem; there is just not the available talent within the sector to achieve this, as historically the packaging industry has relied on talent from overseas. As such there needs to be a drive to train up new packaging professionals within the industry.   

Recently our Justine Fosh, group CEO of the NSAFD and OAL, spoke on this very issue to Institute of Apprentices.
