This is a brand new programme recently launched and has been created collaboratively with employers and universities. Manchester Metropolitan University is the only university to offer this programme with places available in 2020.
The webinar will be hosted by our Senior Academic Team. Helen Robinson, Senior L&D Manager from Dunelm will also be talking about their decision to place employees onto the programme and how it is working for them so far.
Manchester Metropolitan University is one of the most popular universities in the UK, educating over 38,000 students each year. The University takes its responsibility for creating work-ready graduates very seriously and maintains close industry and business links. This embedded philosophy has enabled the University to take an industry-leading role in Degree Apprenticeship creation and delivery, working with employers across the North West and nationally.
Rate My Apprenticeship 2019, awards based on apprentice opinions, named Manchester Met the top university in the country for Degree Apprenticeships.
In 2018, the University was a winner of the ‘UK Apprenticeship Award’ at the Educate North Awards and was nominated at the 2018 Times Higher Education Management and Leadership Awards for our Employer Engagement. Ofsted rated the University as an ‘outstanding’ provider of further education and skills education following an inspection in November 2018.
The University also welcomed its 1,000th apprentice in November 2018, three years after launching one of the UK’s first degree apprenticeship programmes.
