Award categories included Large Apprenticeship Employer of the Year, Small Apprenticeship Employer of the Year and a number of Outstanding Apprentice of the Year awards across various sectors including the Manufacturing and Service industry category which was won by Inta Rascevska of Kerry Foods. Inta studies on the Level 3 Food Technologist Apprenticeship at NTU’s Brackenhurst Campus and her commitment to her academic studies and the impact she has made within Kerry Foods impressed the independent judging panel.
NTU has much more to offer throughout the rest of National Apprenticeships Week, culminating in a free to attend event on March 8th jointly hosted with the National Skills Academy for Food and Drink. The event includes a keynote address by Louise Codling of the NSAFD, alongside expert talks from NTU staff involved in apprenticeships delivery. The event is specifically aimed at organisations with an interest in apprenticeships within the Food and Drink sector.
