The Department for Education is pleased to announce that the sixteenth annual National Apprenticeship Week will take place from 6th to 12th February 2023.

National Apprenticeship Week is an annual week-long celebration of apprenticeships, showcasing the impact and benefits apprenticeships can have on communities, local businesses, and regional economies.

The department are encouraging employers to promote the outstanding work their apprentices have been involved in over the past year. We also want to highlight the many benefits apprenticeships bring to businesses of all sizes.

The week will also be a opportunity to promote other skills routes on offer and the benefits they bring to businesses and learners, including T Levels and Traineeships.

National Apprenticeship Week 2022 was a hugely successful week.

Highlights included:

#NAW2022 trending on Twitter from Monday to Thursday.

Over 450 million #NAW2022 impressions across social media

Over 23,000 Twitter accounts engaged including The Royal Family, Marks and Spencer, McDonalds, Bentley, and SKY News.

Over 1,300 events took place across the country to support the week, including events in schools engaging over 135,000 students, 1200 teachers and over 4,000 parents.
