Under the Tasty Careers banner businesses including Radnor Hills, ABP Beef, Allied Bakeries, Castell Howell, Dawn Meats and Glanbia Cheese met school pupils, teachers and parents and talked about the range of careers available within the food & drink industry.
With over 10,000 visitors attending across both shows, there were some fantastic conversations, activities and genuine enegaement. Cabinet Secretary for Environment and Rural Affairs, Lesley Griffiths, attended the Llandudno show, and Minister for Skills and Science, Julie James, attended the Cardiff show. Both spoke with Tasty Careers Ambassadors from Allied Bakeries about their roles in the industry, as well as the presentations they do within schools and colleges to encourage students to consider a careers in the food & drink sector.
A massive thank you to all those involved, especially the Food Division in Welsh Government, whose support enables ongoing industry presence at incredible shows like Skills Cymru.
