Raising the Standards for Food & Drink Apprenticeships

Tuesday, March 14, 2017 - 08:35

2017 is the NSAFD’s 10th birthday and to celebrate we are having an industry conference focussing on helping businesses get ready for the impending levy.

At a time of great change and, at the time of the conference, only 20 days before the implementation of the apprenticeship levy, the National Skills Academy for Food & Drink and Occupational Awards Limited are holding a conference taking place on Friday 17th March.

The conference celebrates the enormous work done by the industry to develop a full range of new apprenticeships and Industry Approved Apprenticeship Programmes (IAAPs) and brings together food and drink employers, colleges, universities, trade organisations, institutions and Government representatives to discuss ways to implement the new food and drink apprenticeship standards; from understanding the new digital account through to organising end-assessment.

Delegates will hear from companies and training providers alike who are already engaged in delivery and learn how they are making the levy work for them. From becoming an employer provider to supporting end assessment, they will learn about the various models and support available and meet the people behind the support.

A full agenda for the day can be found here.
